Legal notice
A clearance happens in rooms you often cannot check afterwards. So it should be plain who is answerable for it, and where you can go when our own answer does not satisfy you.
Who publishes this site
Emptio is a trading name. The company behind it is entered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under the number below, and it is the same company that visits, quotes, carries out and invoices the work.
What is on these pages
This site publishes no prices, no rates, no minimums and no promised durations. That is a decision, not an oversight: a building cannot be quoted honestly without being seen, and a date given before the visit is a date given blind.
What the pages do state is conduct — what is looked at, what is written down before anything moves, what happens to belongings that still have value. Those statements are meant to be held against us.
Photographs of buildings and interiors on this site are there for atmosphere. They are not photographs of jobs we have done and are not offered as evidence of any.
Nothing here replaces the written offer. Only the offer issued after the visit binds either side.
If something goes wrong
Tell us first, by telephone or by email. A cleared room cannot be looked at twice, so a complaint made early is worth far more than a complaint made well.
Belgian law governs this site and the work arranged through it, and the courts of Brussels are competent.
A consumer who reaches no settlement with us can put the matter to the Consumer Mediation Service, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, at consumerombudsman.be. It is free and it is independent of us.
